The people behind Consig have been working in voice and communications for decades. We've built and scaled systems that handle billions of calls — where reliability, compliance, and real-world performance are non-negotiable.
The rapid advance in voice AI makes it possible to automate many tasks that before were either clunky (scheduling an appointment) or completely impossible (performing a behavioral health assessment). Incredibly, these interactions can now be done with high fidelity and reliability.
However, the opportunity here is not just about another way to get ROI through automation.
It's about fixing a lot of what is broken in healthcare today: Missed follow-ups, care transitions that drop the ball, warning signs that should have been caught.
It's also about reclaiming time that's being wasted by hard-working folks in healthcare. In many clinics and hospitals today, staff are playing phone tag, leaving voicemail, and calling at the wrong time. Sometimes even dialing off a physical print-out!
There is an enormous opportunity to modernize these processes.
And back to those folks dialing the phone — that's a labor pool that is in very short supply, so we should be even more eager to eliminate waste.
If you build it right, you can use voice AI to extend access to care to a lot of people, in a lot of exciting ways. We know health outcomes improve when communication is easier and more frequent. (For example, with post-procedure follow-up calls.) So the good news is that we can enable more meaningful conversations with more patients.
Consumers are wary of calls, and carriers are aggressively blocking or "flagging" calls that come from businesses.
Furthermore, the compliance burden has grown complex and confusing. A single AI-powered patient call can now implicate many legal frameworks — TCPA, HIPAA, Medicare contact rules, Do Not Call, and more — layered on top of a fast-growing patchwork of state laws. In a system that is increasingly hardened against bad actors, how do the "good guys" get through?
Until now, anyone building in this space needed to bring together several vendors to cover all of this. We're here to fix that.
Consig is the first time voice AI has been combined with a full voice communication stack — from deliverability to compliance to reporting — on a platform built for healthcare.
You focus on patient outcomes. We handle authentication, delivery, compliance, and reporting.
