In short
Consig connects to a healthcare platform through a single integration point, using the API or the Consig portal. Telephony, patient authentication, the conversation, compliance, and warm handoff arrive as one working system. Calls hand off to major contact center and UC systems with call-attached data, EHR and practice-management workflows run through pre-built integrations, and Xela OS gives Consig access to any EMR.
- API & portal
Build your way
Configure workflows and voice agents in the Consig portal, directly as JSON, or through the API.
- EHR / PMS
Pre-built workflows
Pre-built integrations for common EHR and practice-management workflows, plus EMR access through Xela OS.
- Contact center
Warm handoff
Transfer to staff on major call center and UC systems with call-attached data, or schedule a callback.
- Identity
Built in
Journey.ai's Zero Knowledge Network ships inside every call. There is no separate identity vendor to integrate.
- Telephony
Included
Numbers, dialing, branded caller ID, and reputation management come with Consig. No separate CPaaS contract.
- White label
Your brand
Service providers and platforms can deploy Consig as white-label voice infrastructure inside their own product.
How do you integrate Consig with your platform?
Consig is designed to be embedded. A healthcare platform connects once and gets the full voice stack (telephony, campaign management, authentication, conversation, compliance, and handoff) instead of coordinating several vendors or hiring a voice team. Workflows and voice agents can be set up in the Consig portal, configured directly as JSON, or driven through the API, and each workflow can mix deterministic and generative stages.
The platform keeps ownership of what happens next. As Intelibly's CTO put it, Consig built the outbound calling system so their team could focus on what they do with the data that comes back. See the software vendor and service provider pages for how each embeds Consig.
Does Consig work with EHR and practice-management systems?
Yes. Consig was designed to integrate with EHR, practice management, and other healthcare platforms, and it ships with pre-built integrations for common EHR and PMS workflows such as reminders, recall, no-show follow-up, care gaps, and post-visit outreach.
For clinics on any EMR, the Xela OS partnership provides an EMR-agnostic path. Xela handles the EMR connection it already owns, Consig places the call, and results return through Xela's intelligence layer as discrete, source-linked fields rather than a transcript somebody has to read. For a specific system, ask a Solutions Architect which workflows are ready today.
Can calls hand off to our contact center or care team?
Yes. Consig integrates with all major call center and unified communications systems, so a call can be transferred live to the right staff member or AI agent with the call's data attached, or scheduled for a callback. Handoff is the fourth step of every Consig call, after connect, authenticate, and engage. It is what lets automation handle the routine work while people take the moments that need judgment.
See warm handoff in the glossary for what a good transfer carries over.
Do we need a separate telephony provider?
No. Most voice AI products lead with the conversation and treat telephony as an afterthought, which is where deployments break. Consig covers the full stack: advanced telephony, number and reputation management, and branded caller ID handled through carrier relationships and strategic partnerships. Calls show up as your organization and get answered instead of screened.
This is the difference the product page draws between Consig and CPaaS, voice AI, and CCaaS point solutions. The deliverability side is covered in Getting Through.
How does identity verification fit in?
It is already inside the call. Journey.ai's patented Zero Knowledge Network® is embedded in every Consig call through an OEM partnership, so passkeys, device biometrics, one-time passcodes, and step-up verification come with the platform. The workflow receives the authentication result, while the credentials stay out of the conversation layer, the transcript, and any LLM in the call path. More on the security page.

Frequently asked questions
Does Consig have an API?
Yes. Platforms can build with the Consig API or with the Consig portal, and workflows can also be configured directly as JSON. Either way, one integration point gives the platform telephony, authentication, conversation, compliance, and handoff together.
Which EHR and practice-management systems does Consig support?
Consig ships pre-built integrations for common EHR and PMS workflows, and reaches any EMR through its partnership with Xela OS. Which workflows are ready for a particular system depends on that system, so ask a Solutions Architect about yours.
Can Consig transfer calls to our existing contact center?
Yes. Consig integrates with all major call center and UC systems. It transfers calls live to staff or an AI agent with call-attached data, or schedules a callback when no one is available.
Do we need our own telephony or CPaaS provider?
No. Consig includes the telephony layer: numbers, dialing patterns, branded caller ID, and number reputation management handled through carrier relationships. There is no separate CPaaS contract or carrier setup on your side.
Can we offer Consig under our own brand?
Yes. Healthcare service providers and BPOs can deploy Consig as white-label voice infrastructure, and software platforms embed it as part of their own product, as Elevare Group and Intelibly do.
How long does an integration take?
Consig is designed so a platform can add automated patient calls in days, and platforms typically ship voice in weeks. Timing depends on the workflow and the systems involved. A Solutions Architect can scope it with you.
